“The term “biophilia” literally means “love of life or living systems.”
I have always loved being in nature and felt a deep connection to all living things, not so much to the things that can hurt me though.
As a child we see everything with such awe and wonder! As we get older time speeds up, the pressures and stresses of life make it harder to see.
That awe and wonder fades and becomes like a distant memory, but deep down in our hearts we long for this connection to nature which is our life source!

“The possibility that the deep affiliations humans have with nature are rooted in our biology.”
